Toutapprendre, a French leader in online content for ‘CSE’ and libraries, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Skilleos, a renowned platform specializing in online learning. This acquisition marks a key milestone in Toutapprendre’s growth and expansion journey.
Toutapprendre’s goal is to provide universal access to quality learning and a wide range of cultural and leisure content. By joining forces, Toutapprendre and Skilleos bring together under a common banner a variety of content tailored to all ages and needs. With Skilleos onboard, Toutapprendre enhances its content portfolio across various domains such as personal skill development and creative leisure activities.
Marc Wacongne, CEO of Toutapprendre, commented: “By combining our forces with those of Skilleos, we are taking a major step towards realizing our ambition: to create the reference digital library of cultural and leisure content in France. This acquisition is a growth driver that will allow us to accelerate our development and offer our users an enriched and diversified learning experience.”
The complementarity of the content libraries of Toutapprendre and Skilleos is at the heart of this combination. Customers of both companies will benefit from an improved offering, both in terms of content and technology. The combined platform will provide access to over 200,000 hours of content through 4,400 online courses, 85,000 books & comics, and 600 press titles. Together, the two entities will work on integrating their platforms to offer an unprecedented user experience, characterized by flexibility, accessibility, and quality.
Cyril Seghers, founder and CEO of Skilleos, added: “After 10 years 100% bootstrapped with 0 subsidy and 0 bank loan, we wanted to take a new step. Following discussions with numerous stakeholders, Toutapprendre’s offer was the most interesting and relevant for Skilleos’s ambitions: to push even further our vision of the ‘Netflix of learning’, accelerate in the French market, and expand internationally. We are convinced that this merger will bring even more value to our 700 works councils/companies and libraries clients and 2 million users and will provide new opportunities for our carefully selected 350 experts. We also thank Romain Dehaussy and Nicolas Olivier from Cambon Partners, our advisory bank, who have been true partners in the execution of this operation.”
Xavier Geismar and Julien Lammoglia, Managing Partners at AREV Partners, stated: “We are particularly excited to have contributed to this transformative acquisition, which marks a key milestone in Toutapprendre’s development. The core mission of AREV is to support entrepreneurs who have placed their trust in us to reach new milestones in terms of development and organization, as evidenced by this operation. The union of Toutapprendre and Skilleos will address the challenges of a market in its equipment phase. We look forward to seeing the fruits of this merger and to continue supporting the team in its quest for excellence and innovation.”
